Strykers Blues won their first game of the season against Strykers Whites in a thrilling game that went down to the wire. Strykers Blues limited the Whites batsmen to 169 thanks to a brilliant bowling spell of 6/13 by Shaikh Dahood Azad. Chasing 170, Blues lost a few early wickets before a 50 run 5th wicket partnership between Haris Siddiqui (36) and Sayed Hashmat (27) took them over the 100 run mark, but a few more quick wickets had Blues reeling at 125/9. Then Shaikh Dahood Azad(44*) and Venkat Natarajan(10*) stood up and constructed another 50 run partnership for the 10th wicket to bring Blues home in the last over.
